Canada/US: Joint authorship is when a work is produced by the collaboration of two or more authors and the contribution of one author is not distinct from the contribution of the other author or authors. As a result, copyright is owned by all authors. If one author wishes to disseminate the work, he/she will require the permission of the other joint author(s).
