Since you become an owner, there is no rule that restricts you from saying how the company should be run However, there may be practical obstacles preventing you from exercising any influence. If you own a very small proportion of shares, it may be difficult to exercise any power over those shareholders that own a far greater chunk of the shares. Furthermore, unless you understand the company and the business it is in, you may not be in a position to influence the company effectively.
