    Yes, every person who receives spousal support after separation must include that as part of his or her income if it is paid on a periodic basis pursuant to the terms of a court order or written agreement. Support payments are deductible from the income of the payer. Only child support payments are non-taxable. There are no plans to change the taxability of spousal support payments.
