I have an Internet business. I am located in California, but my servers, and other employees are located outside of the state. Do I still have to pay the California registration fees?

Sometimes businesses attempt to avoid paying California registration fees by incorporating in another state. The test for registration in California is whether or not you are "doing business" in that state. You still have to register in California, even if you incorporate, or have your servers in another state.
